Decorators are a new concept that will be coming in ES7. These are already part of implemetation in 'TypeScript'.
Decorators are simple functions that take some parameters and provide a certain behavior or functionality.
For example @component provides special set of properties to class and provides meaning that it is a component or treat this class as a component.
@Input and @Output add more specific meaning to common variables that this property will be recieved in this component or needs to be emitted out.
