Adding images to HTML

Image tags are used to add images to the web pages. The image can be in any valid format of - .png, .jpg, .svg, .gif, etc. You just need to add the url of image in the src attribute and browser will pick it up. You may also use the optional alt attribute that will show default text if for some reason image is not loaded. You may also use height and width to set the dimensions of the image.
